Helene T. Roos, President and Founder
Helene T. Roos, the President and founder of HDA Consulting, has been delivering consulting solutions to profit and non-profit organizations for over 20 years.  Her professional passion is to ignite self-discovery, personal growth, and the generation of purpose and meaning into the workplace as a way to create extraordinary results.
UPON EARNING her doctorate in psychology and organization development, Helene worked at Wang Laboratories, developing her skills in organization development, strategic planning, teambuilding and leadership development.

In the mid-80's Dr. Roos became a pioneer in the field of technological change management.  She established a consulting business for Wang Laboratories that was dedicated to helping customers maximize their technology purchases by learning how to optimize and align their culture, processes and human capital.  A frequent speaker at national and international conferences, Helene published articles and contributed chapters of books focused on the effective management of technological change.  She also served as a senior external consultant for Deloitte and Touche, providing change management expertise on SAP implementations.

By the early 90’s with her focus shifting towards process re-engineering, Helene launched HDA Consulting.  Client assignments during HDA's early years were largely dedicated to end-to-end process innovation.  At the GAP, HDA assisted in the redesign of the Service Delivery process within IT; at Norwest, we redesigned the Talent Acquisition process and designed the original Customer Store Experience process.

By the end of the decade, Helene's commitment to her own personal growth was reflected in her work.  Consulting with individuals and teams on their self-awareness, their emotional intelligence and their impact, HDA's client base expanded to include key executives seeking coaching, and leadership teams who wanted to find better ways to interact in order to realize their business objectives.

HDA's coaching, consulting and leadership development programs have demonstrated the firm’s ongoing commitment to assisting client companies and individuals in identifying and achieving their personal, professional and organizational goals.  As the process of transformation unfolds, HDA will continue to be instrumental in inspiring and facilitating more courageous dialogue, expanding the range of motion that people feel they can have a t work, increasing individual self-awareness, and, of course, improving bottom-line results.

Helene T. Roos earned her Psy.D. from the Massachusetts School of Professional Psychology and her Master’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Wisconsin.  She is a certified Integral Coach through New Ventures West and Certified Professional Coach with the International Coaching Federation.  Helene is also certified in the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator, the Denison Culture Survey and 360-degree Assessment, the Booth 360 Instruments, Center for Creative Leadership 360, TILT 365, and the Organization Workshop through Power & Systems.
